I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy do to craziness, young minded and wasnt taught about credit being worthy/importanct during my days on earth. (GEESH) if only i knew then what i know now (i know sounds cliche)but its the truth. I filed in april, 2011 and was discharged august,2011. I ordered my credit report and I froze looking at all this stuff. I show the credit report is broken into 4 sections (personal information, public records, credit /collection information and inquiries) I was going to dispute or request updates per each section to CRA. Im on the credit information section now and it too much. Can someone please give advice or where can i go to start. I see some w/balances still on but still say included in bankruptcy. Is there a certain way to sort this section out? I need information just on this section right now. Send me to a site where its like elementary style for me to follow.
